Now serving the Atlanta Area!

Hello Everyone!

So many exciting things have happened to our family this year! First and the most important thing is that we are now officially a family of four, Ella Jaye joined our wild and crazy mix on October 3rd, 2017. On top of that, we made a HUGE change and are now officially Georgia residents, yikes! This move means a lot of change in 2018 for LHM Photography. Our new home and headquarters are currently located in Woodstock GA just north of Atlanta. We are excited and nervous but know this will be great for our family. We look forward to meeting new clients and working on updating our marketing and branding this year in our new much broader market.

Happy New Year everyone, from this Atlanta area wedding photographer or should I say Woodstock GA Wedding Photographer? ;) Oh and on a high note, being so close to ATL will make it super easy and at most times a direct flight away to most national and international destination weddings!

Best,

Laurie

How could I not be excited to work with Jessica and Travis, not only are they super laid back there wadding took place in one of my Favorite St Augustine Florida wedding Venues, The White Room!

This vintage Florida venue has everything a bride dreams of! With its waterfront location and roof top ceremony space, vintage brick walls and wood floors it is impossible to be obsessed with The White Room.

Jessica’s bridesmaids wore a pale yellow that accented the sunflower bouquets and details’ of the venue perfectly. Her mother in law though of every detail when helping plan and decorate for their big wedding day. We had such a blast with Jess and her family, here are a few of my favorite captures of the day.

This October I had the pleasure of photographing a wedding in the First Baptist Church Gainesville off 39th Ave for the first time.  The church was beautiful and has an amazing private garden and outdoor open air chapel. The ceremony was tradition and held inside the church and the reception was at the Gainesville Country Club across town.

Chris and Alexis picked the First Baptist Church to have their ceremony for many reasons, one being that they both work there along with Chris’s mother. They also attend the church regularly.

This bride and groom had a DIY wedding that incorporated some of their favorite things like baseball! Here are a few of my favorites from their special day.

I could not be more excited about Gainesville’s newest park and perfect photo spot for engagement and family sessions! The Sweetwater Preserve is a unique natural land in the city of Gainesville, with a short hiking trail near the north rim of Paynes Prairie. This place is beautiful and the lighting is to die for in the wee hours of the morning.

Casey and Joe wanted a mix of natural and of course the campus back drop so we started their shoot off at the Sweetwater Preserve and ended the session on campus at the Ben Hill Griffin stadium, Go Gators!

Here are few of my favorite shots from their engagement session. I can’t wait to document their Sweetwater Branch Inn wedding this February!  Hopefully we will have much cooler weather then :)

This love story all started when Brandon and Emily vacationed at the St. Regis, Princeville in Hawaii. Little did Emily know Brandon had more than R&R planned for their trip. He popped the question in paradise and of course she said, YES!

Since these two love birds are from two different regions they figured they would have a destination wedding. What better place then the same location he popped the big question, Kauai, Hawaii!!

Destination weddings are definitely my jam for a number of reasons. I am a wanderlust and crave adventure and what better way to see the world, right?! So when Brandon (who happens to be a long time friend) asked if I would be interested in documenting their wedding day I was all in!

It was such an awesome experience catching up with old friends, making new friends and spending time with two AWSOME people, on their wedding day.

Even though it was a tad rainy and overcast this location took my breath away. What an awesome place to say “I DO”. Here are some of my favorite images from their big day for you all to enjoy!

XO
